We would like to invite you to our Italian wedding party on Friday, August 8, 2025 in Brattirò. The village where Tim has been coming for 30 years and the region that Elles has also fallen in love with. We celebrate our love with Isa, family and friends under the southern Italian sun. At long tables in a vineyard overlooking the sea, enjoying pasta, wine and Italian music.

We're going to make it an unforgettable party and hope you'll be there! Children are also very welcome. But just as good friends if things don't work out. We understand that it is quite an undertaking.

Can you let us know as soon as possible whether you are coming (no later than March 1, 2025)? You can register below. Then we can make the preparations for the party and the program.

Program

Most people will not come for one day. That is why we have optionally put together a nice program around the wedding (costs for your own account).

We would love to have lunch with everyone the day before the wedding (pre-party) and end spectacularly with a wine festival in our village on the 10th of August. A real recommendation and a true experience!

Travel and stay

AEROPLANE

The nearest airports are Lamezia Terme, Reggio di Calabria, Catania and Napels respectively. You can fly from Amsterdam or Eindhoven to Lamezia Terme or Reggio di Calabria. This is with a stopover in Milan or Rome. There is a direct flight from Düsseldorf to Lamezia terme and from Amsterdam a direct flight to Catania and Naples.

RENTAL CAR

You can rent a car at the airport (with or without other guests) and drive to your destination. From Lamezia Terme and Reggio di Calabria it is approximately 1 hour to travel to Brattirò and the surrounding area. From Catania (Sicily) it takes approximately 3 hours (including the ferry to the mainland) and from Naples approximately 4 hours. Please note that you will need a car to go from Brattirò to the beach or vice versa (depending on where you stay).

TRAIN

From Lamezia Terme (travel time approximately 1 hour) and Reggio di Calabria (travel time approximately 2 hours) you can take the train to Tropea or Santa Domenica (and possibly be picked up there by a taxi or guests already staying there). We do not recommend taking the train from Catania. From Naples it takes approximately 4 hours.

ACCOMODATION

In the region around Brattirò (called Drapia) you have several nice places to stay. Booking.com shows a wide range of offers. Book something in or near Brattirò if you want to be close to the wedding party and village festivals. If you want to stay on the beach, Capo Vaticano, Santa Domenica and Tropea are beautiful locations. We also know some locations if you can't figure it out.

GROUP STAY

Let us know if you want to rent something with a large group or want to stay where (many) other guests are staying. Then we may be able to facilitate that.

The vineyard we are marrying (Masicei winery) has no address.

DRESSCODE

We like it when people are dressed festively at the wedding. But above all, wear something that you feel comfortable in and keep it light because of the heat.

GIFTS

It's our gift if you come, so we don't need anything else!

ORGANIZATION

We have a master of ceremonies and a "petit committee" who prepare things and ensure everything runs smoothly. They will also contact you about the wedding party.

SPEECHES

If you like to do something for us, for example a speech, song or sketch, feel free to do so. We like it! Please contact the master of ceremonies about this in due course.

GROUP MEMBER

After registering for the wedding party, become a group member by creating a password and logging in to this website. Then all guests can share information with each other (e.g. who is staying where), place calls (e.g. to take a ride) and centrally upload and download photos/videos.
